Redmond, Wash. – September 3, 2020 – Aiphone, the leading international manufacturer of intercom and security communication products, is introducing the IX Simple Support Tool, an abbreviation of the full-service IX Support Tool programming software. The simplified version is designed to seamlessly configure up to 20 systems from the IX Series portfolio of IP video intercom components.

The IX Simple Support Tool has a programming wizard which allows for the configuration of each station’s number, name, and IP address. All other settings are configured to the default values and automatically uploaded. Basic Call, Door Release, Emergency Call and one Group setting can be configured after the initial programming by using this tool.
 

This is an intuitive and easy-to-use option for integrators who need to quickly configure systems for small to mid-sized businesses. The Simple Support Tool’s configuration speed makes it an ideal software tool to conduct automatic upgrades to a smaller system, without searching through pages of features. 

This tool batch configures all stations simultaneously, finding each station on the network by its MAC address. Once stations are located, the programming wizard featured as part of the IX Simple Support Tool will walk integrators through each step of the process and automatically upload the network information and settings to each station.
