During her tenure at Security Systems News, Chelsie crafted thousands of stories and interviewed the movers and shakers of the security industry, including CEOs of multi-million dollar companies and leading analysts within the industry. She was also responsible for developing the educational program and vetting speakers for TechSec Solutions, a conference that launched in 2004 to open the dialogue between security systems integrators, end users, manufacturers and consultants about the growth of IP security technology.

Chelsie's journalism roots - she worked as a reporter for several daily and weekly newspapers prior to her entrance into the security market - provide a solid foundation on how to work with the media. She holds a BA Degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College.

While at the helm of SDN, Andrea wrote hundreds of news stories and trend pieces about the new dynamics of the security market, from increasing liability to the growth of the position of corporate security officer from the facilities department to a senior corporate executive. She covered these stories through conversations with high-level security executives at Fortune level corporations, industry analysts and business leaders in the security integration, manufacturing and technology space. She also helped the publication develop and position its IP technology event, TechSec Solutions, and played a pivotal role in crafting the educational component of the conference.

Andrea has also covered the residential and small commmercial side of the security market. Prior to Security Director News, she worked as a managing editor for Security Systems News, where she was responsible for the news of alarm monitoring firms and security technology and service providers to the residential market. Andrea is also well-versed in other markets - she also served on the editorial staff of HME News, a trade newspaper in the home medical equipment industry as well as two daily newspapers in the Northeast. Andrea graduated from Roger Williams University's Communications program.

At Unum's Kansas City Sales Office, she was the Director of Service and Administration, accountable for all service and sales support activities for a $130 million block of business. She managed a staff of 34 and a budget of $1.7 million. Gina spent 6 years at Unum's Rochester, New York Sales office in the role of Client Representative. She was responsible for providing ongoing service to administrators on their employee benefit packages. Her caseload included over 500 companies in Upstate New York and parts of Pennsylvania. In 1997, she was asked by Unum's CEO to manage the startup and daily operations of a highly publicized Customer Loyalty Call Center which involved making outbound calls to 60,000 customers. These calls were designed to thank customers for their business, and to gain feedback on Unum's products and service.

Gina is a trained Six Sigma Black Belt and has completed Michael Hammer & Company's "Process Management Series" for corporations. She also attended Executive Leadership training at Wharton School of Business. Gina has spent the majority of her career in customer relationship management roles, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine in Orono.

Joanne's experience as a freelance journalist for more than six years also includes work for trade publications in the medical technology, distribution, seafood and gourmet retailing industries. Joanne is the past editor of Gourmet News, a trade publication serving the specialty food and kitchenware retailing markets, and worked in trade publishing in Chicago for 10 years covering at various times the supermarket industry, pension funds and corporate real estate.

A cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Joanne received her BA in journalism and political science. Her first journalism experience was at a daily newspaper in Wisconsin where she held various posts ranging from copy editor to wire editor.

Julián began at Latin Press as managing editor for Ventas de Seguridad, and was promoted to Editor-in-Chief, assuming responsibility for eight technical magazines in different industries and four international technical seminars. From this experience, Julián acquired management skills to coordinate editorial, budgets and personnel. Julián is experienced in writing, providing translations, public relations, marketing and Social Media.

In January 2011 Julián founded Signalis Group to provide Hispanic marketing assistance for American companies in markets such as Construction, Electronic Security, A/V, Tourism and HVAC/R.
