MILWAUKEE (November 30, 2017) – Johnson Controls introduces hardware updates to the existing line of exacqVision Network Video Recorders including the Z-Series, A-Series and M-Series, which are now being built with high-capacity hard drives. The exacqVision S-Series server, which archives video, was also upgraded, allowing systems to store or archive more video than ever before.

ONVIF Hosts 17th Annual Developers’ Plugfest

SAN RAMON, Calif. – November 29, 2017. ONVIF®, the leading global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security products, hosted its 17th ONVIF Developers’ Plugfest in early November in Seoul, South Korea – the group’s second largest plugfest ever and the largest in the past five years. With multiple testings of ONVIF conformant products, the Developers’ Plugfest included interoperability testing for all six ONVIF profiles, including prototypes for the Release Candidate of Profile T for advanced streaming. Engineers and developers from 23 ONVIF member companies gathered at the members only event to test their implementations of ONVIF Profiles with other ONVIF Profile-conformant products, with 20 members testing their prototypes of the Release Candidate for Profile T. In all, attendees logged nearly 300 hours of testing during the three-day event

BELFAST, UK. (November 21, 2017) – Johnson Controls, announces the release of CEM Systems AC2000 v8.0 Feature Pack 1, which offers new features that increase the performance, simplicity and scope of the AC2000 access control system suite from CEM Systems. The range of CEM Systems access control readers has also been enhanced with the release of the CEM S700s serial intelligent reader.

CEM Systems AC2000 v8.0 Feature Pack 1 includes improvements to the user experience with multi-language selection and an application search option as part of AC2000 Floatbar.
